I swear Linda had a neat tutorial on using fonts to make flourishes (like a capital L) also.....maybe after the organizational class I'll be able to find it! I know I made a couple of neat ones years ago.
There are tons of free flourish brushes out there these days also-so I take the easy way out these days and use those.

Hi KFM... and Doris!

The tutorial you're referring to is called Type Borders and it's available to you on your Premier page. In the left menu bar, just click on Archived Videos and scroll down to Type Borders.Jan Walker

Yup, that's the one I was thinking of...and I found it in my stash now that I have the name.
Ah yes, I could be the poster child for the organize class..... :-)

Thank you for your help. I just posted this - Christmas Swirl by KFM -
in the Members Gallery. I was unable to figgure out how to link my file to this site.
I found the Brushes on the Internet
Brushes: by Obsidian Dawn - ss-Swirl Parts
I was wondering if anyone has done a tutorial on how to make your own Floruishes/Swirls from start to finish.
I would like to add some realistic looking holly leaves and mabe some red berries on the swirls but so far have been having a hard time finding any.
I do not want them to look like fake silk. I would like them to look real.
I have looked all over the internet for a tutorial on how to do this but so far I really cannot find one that I have control over the amount of arc in the curves.
I did this one from scratch but I really did not kow what I was doing.
It is not finished but this is the look I am attemping to achieve.
I would appreciate any help that someone is willing to offer.
