    Default Share a favorite quote!

In this thread, share your favorite quotes! They're a great way to add a little something extra to a page.

I saw one I like today. It went something like this...

Grandparents: So easy to operate, even a child can do it!

So, share some of your favorite quotes or fun phrases here, and collect some new ones for your pages.

We do ask that you give credit to the author of the quote. I know some are unknown or 'anonymous,' but most quotations can be traced and attributed to someone, so please provide the name of the source whenever you can.

Having said that... the one I shared above wasn't attributed to anyone. But it was too good not to share...

So let's see what you've got. Let's keep this thread short and to the point, please. Just list the quote and the source! No links to quotation sites, please. We all know where they are anyway.

And have a piece of paper handy, or a Word document. I'm sure there will be many you'll want to collect!

What a good idea, Jan. Of course I'm going blank right now, except for my Life Verse: "Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness..." which is from the Bible (Matthew 6:33).

and of course, one that has been attributed to many people:
    "This too shall pass."

One I really like and think is good for teens is:

I saw this in the local paper today. "You can't go wrong with the truth."
In the same article: "LIfe is not on paper; it never goes as planned." The person quoted was a local, Tyrel Nelson, who was quoting his father, Jay Nelson. I could not find these quotes when I googled them—something I do if I don't know the author of a quote.

    Saw this at work today....

I did a LO for a lady that is retiring this past week. I goggled retirement quotes and used a handful of them in the LO. So.... as I read about people such as Shar that get to go and do fun things all of the time, or several other lady's that have mentioned they are retired and get to travel or get to scrapbook a lot....I'm thinking....."Life Beings At Retirement"...is a good one!

Don't I wish life began at retirement. It depends on whether your adult children move back home and/or how many family members you become a caregiver for. But, not complaining, I get to sleep later. My favorite saying used to be: The best part of my day ends when the alarm goes off!
    My name is Beverly.
    I use Photoshop CS2.
I use Windows Vista (but preferred XP)
I have been using Google Chrome, until they updated me and I lost all my good toolbars. Now, I also go back to Internet Explorer from time to time.
