I have just purchased a new printer and am having terrible trouble getting it to print from the Elements Editor. The Printer Company techie now thinks I need to re-install Elements. I also am an extensive user of the organizer and have all my photos and scrapbooking kits and elements categorized and tagged. I refuse to lose all this work!! Is it possible to re-install just the Editor portion of the program and leave the organizer as is.
Any help appreciated.
P.S. I still use Windows XP and am using PSE 9

Yes, unfortunately what HP says is the correct driver has been installed, un-installed and re-installed three times. (both from the disc and from download) It is the fax driver that is causing the problems. This is an all-in-one printer. The fax portion shows up seperately in the "printers " settings area. For some reason we are unable to un-install that driver. To me it does not seem like a problem with elements, but with the printer...
Thanks for responding Wendy..appreciate it!!

Hi ...
I am just wondering if the problem is the twain driver ... these instructions are for PSE9 but they also apply to PSE10:

Do let us know how you go on with it ...
The twain driver isn't automatically installed with Elements you have to do it manually

Update
The problem was finally resolved after 3 hours on the phone with tech support. It was a conflict with some of the "extras" that HP was automatically installing. They finally broke out just the printer driver and we re-installed that and presto...everything finally works. As Char would say Woot!!
