Chalk Hill Blue is the name of my favourite butterfly. I once used this name as a company name for a clothing line I once sold many moons ago. So it's also a little bit nostalgic for me. I still need to add a picture to my profile. I should capture a photo of this butterfly & attach to my profile.

Interesting story, Peggy! And yes, an image of that butterfly would make a perfect avatar! Can't wait to see it...Jan Walker

Mine too, troush. I figured if I wake up one day and don't know who I am I can go to some sites I've bookmarked that have an automatic sign in, and Wallah! I know who I am. LOLMy name is Beverly.
I use Photoshop CS2.
I use Windows Vista (but preferred XP)
I have been using Google Chrome, until they updated me and I lost all my good toolbars. Now, I also go back to Internet Explorer from time to time.

Chertem - Well the Cher is obviously the first part of my name (Cheryl) and the Tem comes from the surname of a great friend of mine - was a serious relationship for 14 yrs but now just friends. His surname is Temlett - So I put together the Cher and the tem - then I liked the fact that it sounded like "Jetaime" (so hopefully to spread the love)

I had to hit the scrapbooks to see how long I have been scrapping. Thank goodness for documentation. I was surprised to see that it will be 10 years this August. I went digital when I found Scrappers Guide in 2009. I thought about our little "Crop Circle", of which I am still apart of on a fairly regular basis, when I needed a screen name. What do I call myself? In my minds eye, I looked around the room and realized it was very simple. I am the only one in our circle who has gone digital! I am still the only one. It sure is easy to pack up at midnight when I only have a computer bag to sling over my shoulder.CS6, PSE8

These stories are so neat! My screen name started is college - at least the first part did. RFEEW was my first AOL chat user name (back when chatting was so "in") and it was given to me by my friends before I knew what it stood for. I am from North Dakota and the friends that were helping me set up my AOL Chat were from OR. They were HS buddies and both decided to come to UND (one for aviation and the other for meteorology). Before coming to UND, they joked that the only women in ND were Raw Fish Eating Eskimo Women (due to the extremely harsh winters) hence, the rfeew user name was born! When they explained the rfeew to me, all I could do was laugh and accept it as a term of endearment. The JLJ is just for my initials - the much more boring part of the name.Jenifer Juris

Red or actually crimson is my favorite color. In fact, I realized (after hearing for years that red was "too bold" "too dramatic" "too violent") that it was OK for me to use it in my house! I now have a crimson sofa and several other things including my bed linen and bath towels!
I love birds (I love all animals, really) but I am very fond of crows and ravens. Where I live, they are abundant but cautious of humans. It is a rare treat to have one land in the yard and stay long enough to watch. If they see any movement from inside the house...they are gone!
I probably would have chosen CrimsonRaven but CrimsonCrow is more alliterative!
And finally, without trying to be mysterious, my real name is very unusual and recognizable. Given the work I have done for years, with survivors of domestic violence; and now, on the streets with homeless kids, I need to be protective (for my safety and for the safety of those with whom I work) of who might recognize and place me.CrimsonCrow
