    Default CS6 displaying windows

I just installed CS6. I have Windows 7. I can not move a window to a different location in my workspace. Everytime I try to move a window, it "snaps" back to the left side of the workspace and up about 1/8 inch. If I try to move it a second time (or even a third or fouth), it "snaps" back to the left side and up another 1/8 inch. It will go all the way up and cover up the tool bar across the top. If I have more than one window open, it stacks them on top of each other so that you can't see the windows under. I spent close to two hours talking to Adobe this am and they are having a "senior" trouble shooter looking into this. Mean while, it makes working very difficult. Just wondering if anyone else has this same problem. I've used PSE and older versions of PS (ie: PS5, PS4, PS3 etc) and have never had this problem. Same computer for PSE 7, 9 and PS4 and PS5. Thanks for any input.

When I open a picture or scrapbook paper, etc. it appears in a window in my workspace. If I'm working on a two page layout, I like to keep them side by side and my papers, elements, and pictures across the bottom part of my workspace. The problem I'm having is I can't move these items around. They stack on top of each other and every time I try to move them, they go back to the left side of my work space and up an 1/8th inch. I can't see the items underneath.

    Hi Sheryl

Try going into View>Arrange and click on Flat in Windows and Float All in windows

See if that sorts it out for you

Thanks for the suggestion. After 9 hours over 3 days, Adobe figured out the when I have Lotus 123 Smart Suite snapped to the top of my screen, it interfered with PS. If snapped to bottom of screen there was no interference!

    Hi Sheryl,
I had exactly the same problem.
I am also using PS6 with Windows 7.
Normally I use the taskbar (Windows 7 taskbar) on the left side of the screen vertically (normally it is horizontal and on the bottom of the screen, as default).
I tried to change the position of the taskbar from left side to right side, or to the bottom of the screen (as default).
The problem is solved by both changes.
    Just for you to know
