I am learning to use so many new tools. Well, new to me anyway
I am not completely happy with the effect of the brush. Any ideas how i could improve it?

Hi Grace—I like your idea of using a brush to add some grunge. I would just use a little less of it. Lower the opacity of the brush to perhaps 30% (you'll need to experiment) and make the brush large by pressing the right Bracket key. Then create a new layer and click once. Choose another spot and click again. Try to make the grunge look random.
The brush grunge should add a flavor to your page, but not over take it. You want the photos to still be the main focus, and you want the paper around the photos to be a little grungy, but not too much!*************************

thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to fix but couldn't figure it out. This is the best learning tool ever, with your help I dare to try new things.
