Help. I purchased the Scrap It Now Templates. I use Photoshop Elements 10. I open the editor, create a new file background then open the background paper templates and the photo templates duplicating each one as the tutorial video says. I can clip papers to the paper template but then I no longer have the photo template visible. I have done things over and over and don't know what I am doing wrong. If I only use the photo template and clip a paper to the background everything looks right. How do I use both the background and photo templates on the same page??

In the layers pallet, is the background template BELOW your photo template?

Hmmm, just thinking out loud - did you copy over the "background layer" from the photo template?
Try this:
1. copy over the background template to your "final layout" (that new file you created).
2. Clip your papers and such.
3. Now, in your photo template, in the layers pallet, select all the photo layers (use shift-click to select the layers) but do NOT select the background layer.
4. Now, click and drag from the layers pallet to your "final layout" and press the shift key as you let go of your mouse button. That will drop the photos into the same place they were in the original template.
5. Clip your photos.

What i do is to rename the SIN template file, and then add my paper(s), elements, photos, etc to this new file. You can also use the File>Duplicate command which will make a copy of the template and then rename it (close the original SIN file).
