I almost feel like I have been down this road before, but with Nann's tutorial today, I'm faced with it again since I didn't find a solution before.
I'm using CS5, and there is no "Spatter" brush option. Can anyone tell me how to acquire it?
Thanks.

A Little Secret For Journaling on Patterned Paper...it just came today.
...and btw, my title should be "Spatter" not "Scatter." And Nann has also used the word "splatter," but on her screen shot of the brushes list, is shows up as "spatter."---Shar

Hi Shar ...
First reset your brushes. To do that look at the top of the screen and over on the left you will see a brush icon ... go to the next icon towards the right and click on the little black triangle. A new menu comes up ... look over to the far left and click on another little black triangle at the top.
A menu will pop up ... choose reset brushes. Once you have done that you will see a series of spatter brushes

LIGHT BULB MOMENT! D U H ! ! ! I finally get it! With the "DEFAULT" brushes selected, WITHIN that list, there are spatter brushes. I thought Spatter Brushes were a category of their own--you know, like "Default," "Basic, " Square," etc.
I feel so happy to be one of the people at the party, AT LAST!---Shar
