I also did this using different layers and different types of gradients with transparent layers. This is a sample of the same layers with different blending modes and huestaturation layers. There is one background layer, one stripe layer and 1 additional one in the lower right example. The lower left is just colorized.

Fabulous colors, I really need to go try this - Awesome job ladies

    Smile Thank you Nancy

Your tutorial was so easy and the process so much fun, I think I'm going to half to buy more computer memory I would love for you all to have some of my attempts however, not sure if its ok to give a link to www.yousendit.com to download the zip file here in this forum - So if anyone wants to scream at me for doing this no-no I will promise never to do it again I could not figure out how to decrease the file size to below 2MB for each file. So I zipped them up (about 28 MB) and here they are - Enjoy!

YouSendIt has free registration if you have to register to get the file. They give you 4GB of download availability as well.

    This was so much fun!

Was told by a friend that the best link to use is the one that is sent to me via email. So here is the link I was sent in case the first link does not work

I'm glad it worked okay for you. It is a load of fun and makes some great backgrounds. Don't forget to use some custom shapes to "cut out" the color from the background to create some great looking shapes for your regular pages too like I did with the star .

Buggy and Karin - those are really cool. I like the second one Karin with perhaps a fall theme. Great colors for that!

I know this thread is probably old, but I just stumbled onto it. This tutorial is SO-O-O addictive. I've just spend 20 minutes playing. I can't wait to incorporate it into a project.

    Thank you so much!!!
