Default How do you bend, twist, bunch and curl things?

I absolutely adore the elements at the new LilyPad and lots of Natalies stuff is like this. I also see tons of those bunched up ribbons EVERYwhere so how do you do this?

Oh yea and is there a tut on putting things on strings? Love that too!

Yes, Linda includes threading tags in one of her tutorials on her Basic Training CD's, and I expect that she'll share some other tricks on her upcoming new Training CD available in a couple of weeks.

Briefly though, you bring your tag onto your layout, bring your string onto your layout above the tag, and then on the STRING layer, erase one little piece of the string so it looks like it's going down into the tag's hole and coming out from under it.

I took a peek at Natalies items on her website, and I'm venturing that she scanned those curly ribbons that you like so well. You might just ask her. I think they might be almost impossible to build in Photoshop, and I also think that she has put together a very nice selection for you to consider. Have you seen Linda's REAL RIBBONS for Digital Scrappers? It is wonderful, and I use it ALL THE TIME. So easy to recolor for your layout, and classy, pretty, relaxed, grungy---a whole lot of everything. I highly recommend that more than 400 item high quality huge selection of ribbons. I've never NOT found just what I was looking for.

Hi - AVBros has a plugin available for purchase that does a great job of curling. I don't have it but have seen layouts using it for paper and ribbons. Here's the homepage for this company:
