AdoramaPix really cares about their customers! That shines through in all their communications and attention to detail. They also invite feedback once you have received your order because they want to make sure that you are one hundred percent happy. Being an international customer, I expected my order to take longer than if I lived in the USA but was pleasantly surprised that it only took two weeks from the day I ordered it. It was incredibly well-packaged—the box was three times the size of my little 6 x 6 inch book, so there was no way it could have been damaged in transit. Being a reviewer, I didn’t have to pay for my book or shipping, but for Australian customers who are counting their pennies, the shipping is quite pricey at $29.95.

The quality of the printed book is exceptional. The paper is really thick and lustrous, and the photos look absolutely amazing! I used several of the actions from Linda Sattgast’s class, Actions: Enhance Photos Fast, on all of my photos. That really made them pop in the printed book, and her black and white actions are to die for.
I also love the fact that there is no gutter in the middle of the book. The spine is designed so that the pages lay flat when you turn them.
AdoramaPix provides full-bleed blank pages for digiscrappers. I used the Pre-Constructed (Spreads) option, which means I created my double-page spread and uploaded it as one photo. That certainly saves time, and you can easily see what the two pages look like together. The only problem I encountered was a centering issue with the cover.
AdoramaPix provides different sized cover templates depending on how many pages are in your book. I used the correct cover template for the number of pages I had, but the front and back images were slightly off-center. This was more noticeable because they were on a white background. The wonderful people in customer service showed me how that could be overcome next time. I have suggested they add a couple of extra guides to the templates with the cross hairs directing you to the correct middle of both the front and back, because it’s not where one would assume, so it would be impossible to make an error. They didn’t think that would be a problem. The good thing about their cover templates is that you can create your own spine! Not many photo book companies give you that option, which is so important to digicrappers.
I can certainly recommend AdoramaPix for their product and service! I would definitely use them again!

I have never used ADORAMPIX before. I would like to give them a try.
While I’ve done a lot of digital layouts, I’ve not had a photo book printed… YET! Almost done with my Mom’s early life, that will be the first one printed.
I printed a beginning reader book for my grandchildren. I used pictures of them and then wrote very simple sentences about the pictures using high frequency words and lots of repetition. They loved it!
I had a 118 page album printed with the theme ‘me’, titled ‘Lynne’s Memories’
Yes, when my youngest son was 2( 9 1/2 years ago) for Christmas I had a Thomas the tank engine photo book made for him –I entered the text and photos but all the backgrounds were premade Thomas — even though he has long outgrown playing with those trains, he still loves to read his special book.

I have had one book printed. A monthly themed book of all my grandchildren’s and familys’ activities during the first 6 months of 2014. With half our children living thousands of miles away it was a wonderful opportunity for me to be in close touch with them all. They knew I needed photos for the book and so they made sure to take lots of photos of their activities and sent them to me each week.
I have had a 23 page album printed and the theme was “My Story”.

My parents took our immediate family members on a cruise for THEIR 50th wedding anniversary. I made a book for them with pictures from the cruise. 🙂

I have had several photobooks printed in the past, usually about a specific trip or for a specific event such as a wedding album. My first was for my grandson after his first year. My last was a 20 page book remembering Katie, out beloved miniature schnauzer we raised from a puppy and who was 16 years old when she died. It was an 8 x 8 size. I have never printed the 6 x 6 size.

I co-authored a book with my mother (from her point of view) about how my mother and father met entitled When Betty Met Marvin. It was fun to record that story with so many of her photos from the 1950’s.
I have done 4 photobooks. The most recent was with Adorama of my son’s wedding. It was stunning! What I liked about Adorama is that they didn’t mess the color. This book looked exactly like it did on my computer screen. They also explained the printing process and how things get cropped. I changed all the layouts that had stacked papers that might not come out centered. Consequently I was much happier with this book than the others I had done somewhere else.
I’ve printed a number of albums; mostly our travels. Last year I printed one call “Julie’s Portfolio” which included most of my challenge layouts. It turned out great! I have not used AdoramaPix yet, but would like to.

I make a photo book every year using Photoshop Elements. I give a book to each of my siblings and children. The theme is the events of the past year along with some special pages highlighting our ancestors so that new generations will know their family history.
When my youngest son was graduating (5 yeasts ago) he was headed to AIT and then scheduled to be deployed just before Christmas that year. Wanting him to have something to take with him, we compiled 80+ photos of family and friends, activities we had done, etc and uploaded to knee of those online book companies. It cost me $34.95 plus shipping, the book was ok, a bit flimsy for my taste, but he loved it and that was the important part. He never made it out of the USA (answered prayers) and is no longer in the military. He loves to pull out his “memories” book and show friends (and even his nieces) his life thru pictures
I have printed digital scrapbooks from shutterfly ( had to have them redo one due to pages falling out) and winkflash. These were in chronological order.
I have also printed vacation books from winkflash when they had the flat rate book sale.

I have had a few albums printed. Most recent was from Snapfish, and the topic was our family’s “yearbook”, shared with my grandparents so they could vicariously share our year, with us.
I made one for my son back in 2010 before he was scheduled to be deployed just before Christmas. It was from an online company and kinda flimsy, expensive for the quality. But he loved his book. And still shows it off to friends (and even his nieces). By the grace of God, he never left the USA and is now done with his military service

I’ve had books printed from Shutterfly.com. Two books were about 2 different trips to southern California where I grew up. (I lived in Washington state then.) One was of all my grandchildren. One was of my oldest granddaughter’s artwork. Two were 12″x12″; one was 8″x11″; and one was 6″x6″. They were beautiful. I’ve never heard of Adorampix before.

During my son’s senior year in high school, I finally made a baby book of his first two years of life. It was so fun to go back to that time in his life and reminisce.

Yes I have had an album printed. It was for my mother who has since passed. It was 12 x 12 album that took a very long time to print. It went all the way to Japan for printing (at the time I did not know where it was being printed) I have been leery of having another one printed since then.
I have done many books but my favorites are the Heritage books I did for each member of my family.
I’ve never printed an album before. I would like to print one of my grandkids, a heritage album, and our trip to Italy. Guess I should choose one, and do it!

I have a couple of mission trip photo books done at Walmart using their pre made templates. They are nice and the price was good. I like that Adoramapix lets you make a spine! That will be handy when I need to find a certain book.

I have done year in review books for the last six years, Several vacation books and a special birthday book for my husband. I have used five different companies. Mixbook then Shutterfly as my favorites. Did not know about AdoramaPix. Will definitely try it!
I’ve had small books printed of my bird, ocean, and flower photos.
My very first printed book was at AdoramaPix for my dad’s 90th birthday. It was a history of his life. I wanted it to be special so I did a lot of research online for a high quality book printer and I chose them!I was thrilled and so was he. The quality is amazing! I’ve used Costco for inexpensive travel and birthday books for nieces and nephews when price was important plus another Groupon deal that turned out OK. I’ve made other AdormaPix books for my son’s 30th birthday (140 pages!), Father’s Day and Christmas and they really are the best. I use them when I want a book to be high quality. I love the lay-flat pages!!

I had about 10 little books printed with the story of our family cake and gave them to everyone for Christmas. That’s the only time I’ve had an album printed.
I recently had a book printed, a 100 page long 12 X 12 album I made in honor of my Dad’s life. Had copies printed for 5 members of my family. It was a huge project that took me 4 1/2 months to complete. The final product was so beautiful and professional and we had to keep the kleenex box handy as all were looking at it.

For Christmas I created a 21 page book of my parent’s 60th wedding anniversary that took place last summer! It was my first book but OMG, what a treasured book!!!!

So far, I have created 19 photo books. So rather than list ALL the themes, I tell you about one. The title is “This & That.” It contains all those miscellaneous pictures you collect with no perfect theme of their own to create a photo book or scrapbook pages.

I have had a few books printed of special vacations I had taken. I also had a few printed to give as gifts to our grandchildren. These were of trips we had taken with them; one to Germany and another to Tanzania. I liked both books so much I reordered copies for myself!

I had a 40 page album printed replicating my grandmothers diary of her years spent in Germany during WWI. She was visiting with her parents and brother at the onset of the war. Her father, being a doctor, was quite concerned about being told he would not be able to leave the country and he was also concerned with getting his son out of Germany. They left behind my grandmother who was staying with cousins at the time. She remained there until the end of the war and was able to return to America via steamship. She left behind this detailed diary of her hardships and photos which I shared with family.
I had a 50 page photo album made of our vacation. The theme was “We went that-a-way” it was about the road trip we took to California and along the coast before heading back to Oklahoma.

I’ve printed off a few digital books. One was a book that included all the letters that my nieces and nephews wrote to me when they were children (I was a child then too). I created another as a gift for my adult cousins who were visiting America for the first time and whom some of us met for the first time. I gathered photos from all my siblings from their time spent with our cousins and rather than have them spent money they don’t have to print the photos, I created this book so they would have a memory of their trip. I also created a homeschool year book that document our field trips, art work, experiments and other fun stuff that we did that school year.
I have had 42 books printed, starting in 2007. All, but two, are 100 full page layouts and were printed by My Publisher. The other two were ones that let me drop individual photos into slots. I have been very happy with My Publisher; but am also impressed with the comments I’ve read about Adorama Pix. I would love to try it.

My husband and I, along with 25 members of our church, visited Acurra, Ghana. Our mission was to visit and stay in Tuokurano (village) and dig wells for running water. We also brought school supplies and other gifts for the wonderful people we met. The women had to walk 5 miles round trip to get clean water.

I have printed 3 photo books, all of family reunions/vacations. My aunt, age 88, as matriarch of the family, organizes these exotic reunion/vacations and I make photo books for her so she can look back and remember all the fun we had. I made a photo book of my trip to New Zealand. It was through another company as I had heard of ADORAMPIX before. Susie, your book looks beautiful and I like the flat pages. I used your tutorial on quick travel pages and everyone loved the pictures and how it came out. Fighting the issue of figuring out what was really not going to show well because of the gutter was difficult so I appreciate the flat page feature of ADORAMPIX.
My husband and I have been watching our 3-year-old granddaughter a couple of days a week since she was 3 months old. As a “Report to Parents” I create a photo album every 6 months showing some of the activities she participates in while with us. I’ve also made several other photo albums, weddings, anniversaries and focusing on individuals with photos from each year of their lives. I have had 2 albums printed as photobooks before – a beautiful 8.5 x 11 book in landscape format with photos, memorabilia etc from our trip to Hawaii in 2007 and the other a birthday gift to my husband – a 4×6 memorail book about our dog Fritz who had recently passed away.
I have done several. One was for my mom called “Memories of Dad” which I made for her after dad passed away. I have done bridal shower, baby and travel books.
I love having books printed.I have used Shutterfly and My Pic Tales. Most where printed as 8×8 but I do have some that are 12×12. I have done our multiple vacation books, multiple sports books for my boys (baseball, basketball, swimming). I still owe my oldest son his soccer book though. I have done a couple of books about weekend get togethers with my girlfriends. I did a book for each of the Seniors on the High School swim team with Highlights of all their years of swimming on the High School team. I’ve done wedding books. The hardest books I’ve done where for memorial services and one for a little girl whose dad was dying from cancer and they did a father/daughter dance in their honor. I have never used Adorampix but would love to give them a try. I have so many books I want to make.
I’ve made several photo books centered around various vacations we’ve taken. My favorite, though, was the alphabet book I made about my children’s elementary school when it closed several years ago. Many people ordered copies of it as a memory gift.
I had an album printed twice with a photo book company, both of them were devoted to my mother-in-law.

I’ve had many books printed. I do a family album each year and give everyone a copy. I’ve also done books for my son, husband and now grandson on their military service. Vacations and weddings are other themes.

I did have a book created. Don’t remember how many pages it contained. It was a winter theme of a trip my children and their children took to lake Tahoe. Turned out to be quite nice. Gave it to my daughter-in-law for Mother’s day

I would like to make a smaller book with my dad’s World War II cartoons. Instead of writing letters, he often drew caricatures to represent his life overseas in the military camps. Fascinating.
I created 2 books for my grandson. One was about a week we spent at a cottage and then babysat at his home. It was called Summer 2012. We still look at it whenever we are visiting. Our second one was Grandma and Grandpa’s big adventure about a snorkeling cruise we went on. He loved that one

I have printed several photo books. One of them was all about my mother, which I made for her 75th birthday. Another was about our daughter’s wedding. I made several vacation-themed books, as well. My most recent one was of our riverboat trip in Europe.

I’ve had a couple of books printed – one for newly discovered relatives in England on a side of the family they knew little about and the other on a delightful town in Australia called Maryborough (birthplace of P L Travers who wrote Mary Poppins).
sI print with Shutterfly several times a year and love what I get. I don’t do photo books persay, I write stories for my grand kids and illustrate them

Yes, I make and print photo books annually for each of my grandchildren of the scrapbook pages I have done for them that year. It is fun as it shows how that have changed over the year and the activities they participated in. I haven’t used this company, only Shutterfly.com. I use the blank page book that works well with the scrapbook pages. They have the lay flat page option as well. It can be rather expensive, as I usually have about 50 pages. I like how you can design your own cover too.

Photo books are great! Some recent ones are “55 Years Together”, “Missionary”, “Grandaugher Fun”, “Friends”. I’ve got many more in mind.

I print a 12 x 12 book every year of my family. I’ve also printed vacation and family reunion books and have given them as gifts. They all enjoy the books.

Every year we do a “(yyyy) Year in Review” 7×7 photo album book for family members–many of whom are out of town. We use Blurb with great success. The albums are usually 60-80 pages long and are softbound with glossy covers. We have been very pleased with the results and they make wonderful Christmas presents.

I had an album printed at Costco for our 50th anniversary trip. A also did a small album of our dog as a gift for my husband. It was fun once a figured out how to upload already designed pages. I have a 2 more vacation albums that I could have printed with a little more wor.
I have made and had printed many albums…..for others. It seems that I can make albums which are given as gifts, which means I have copies of those albums, which is great as there is not any additional work required. However, I would love to be able to complete and print the albums for me which are the annual albums of the everyday events.

Actually, I would have loved to win the 12 x 12 book but this 6 x 6 will work just fine for what my sister and I want to do. Our brother is very sick…cancer. We live up North, he South in Florida. We want to create a photo book of us 3 when we were growing through the years. It’s just a little something that we want to do so we can ‘be with him’ so to speak. We had such a happy childhood and we want him to smile 🙂 when he feels like it’s too difficult. We try to visit as much as possible and miss him tremendously when we are so far away. I have had several photo books printed by Shutterfly and loved all of them. One of the latest was for our great grandson entitled “Toddler Years”. His mom had a fit over it. I used PSE collages throughout with random photos. I would love to try your company for my next book if I’m picked to win the 6×6 size. Thanks

I finally got my first book printed 2 weeks ago of my Mom’s 80th birthday celebration (she is not 82). While it turned out great, I am impressed with Adorampix and would love to do my daughter and soon to be married son’s wedding albums! (My son challenged me to get a book printed as I’ve been creating pages for several years.)

I have made many photo books over the years from quite a few different companies. The last one I made was of my son-in-law’s recent trip to Israel.
I have several digital storybooks – most printed by Creative Memories – fabulous quality and also by Shutterfly -good but not as good as CM. My books are on holidays, sports teams that my kids played on – family recipe book, baby, etc. Love digital scrapbooking.
My last photo book was printed by Apple on my Mac computer. The theme was a special golf vacation that my husband and I enjoyed in St Simon, GA.
I have completed several photo books, mostly of places I have traveled, or my beautiful grandchildren but one of my favorites was for my parents to celebrate and chronical their 60 years of marriage.

I have had a few photo books printed – one for our wedding and the rest are from our travels. It’s the best way to show your photos to family and friends – they just sit on the computer never being seen mostly.

I published a book using Heritage Makers called Daddyisms. My siblings and I spent months trying to remember the funny things our Dad said to us when we were young and put them all in a book with pictures that went with each phrase. He still gets emotional when he looks through it!

I print books from Shutterfly every year. They review the year & are great gifts. If there is a big trip or event I will create separate books for those. Our trips to Ireland & Scotland, for example. I also printed a book of my eldest son’s graduation from Bates College from Blurb.com. The next two college graduations were rainey, so not as many photos. Here’s hoping that our last college graduation (Holy Cross) next year will be more cooperative- weather (and graduate) permitting.

The last photo book I created was a story about one of my grand-nieces, her belief in fairies, the fairy Garden she created and the result of her project. It was a great hit with her and her family. I am now in the process of turning her brother’s imaginative story about an encounter between spaceman and dinosaurs into a book for him.
