Practice 98% Perfection with Volume 6 of Premier 2023
February 7, 2023 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 21, Issue 6
Hi there!
As of last week, it’s official. My hunk has been putting up with me as his wife for a whole 33 years. You might have already guessed that I can be a handful at times. I’ve got sass coming out of my ears! But the good news is, he doesn’t expect me to be perfect. A little grace goes a LONG way, doesn’t it??
In other news, last month I created well over 20 scrapbook pages. I can honestly tell you that I would not have been able to tell that many stories if I would have strived for perfection. Perfection is a trap, especially in the area of digital scrapbooking. It stifles the creative process in both storytelling and design.
Here’s some great news. This month’s volume of Premier is based on the concept of imperfection (aka the art of not being perfect). For example, the lesson page for Volume 6 of Premier 2023 is much more adorable because it’s NOT perfect. Things are not perfectly aligned or placed.
I don’t expect perfection. And here’s the freeing part for you—you shouldn’t expect perfection either. In fact, most times, imperfection is practically perfect in every way. Make your mantra, “98% is Good Enough” and come have fun with us in Volume 6 of Premier 2023!
Love and creative success,
Jen White, Owner of Digital Scrapper & QwikLearn
