🧡 Feeling Welcomed Enough? Here’s How To Dump the Home Screen
November 28, 2023 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 21, Issue 48
Hi there!
Does your creativity extend to your WiFi network?
Nowadays, internet routers are detectable from pretty far away. My phone and computer can easily detect the network of my far-enough-away neighbors. I cannot hook up to them, but I can see the names of the networks.
Creativity on the Road
I just recently returned from a road trip to Texas to spend Thanksgiving with some extended family. One of my favorite “I’m bored” activities to do when traveling is to watch the network names come and go while driving through big cities. I see super creative names like:
- FBISurveillanceVan
- I am watching you
- The LAN Before Time
At our house, visitors are greeted with two options for hooking up to our WiFi. We have WhiteFi (see what I did there?) and DaBearsStillSuck (yep, Packer fans live within.) The first usually gets a grin, the second, an eye-roll.
Speaking of annoying things, like the Chicago Bears, how about the Home Screen in both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements? The extra clicks it takes to get through to your scrapbooking space can be . . . well, annoying.
Bypass the Home Screen
Feeling like you’ve been welcomed enough by the Home Screen of Photoshop 2024 or Photoshop Elements 2024? This week on the blog (and in the classroom), I’ve posted new videos showing you how to bypass the Home Screen to save yourself a few clicks.
Check it out below along with some GORGEOUS scrapbook pages created by members of Syndee Roger’s newest class, Type Weaver. There are only three more days to save 40%.
Love and creative success,

- The coupon has not been offered since and it’s never been available for purchase.
