🧡 NEW FREE Tutorial Series In Fundamentals
April 23, 2024 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 22, Issue 17
Hi there!
Has your scrapbooking evolved to the use of custom shadows?
A custom shadow is a shadow that has been manipulated to make an otherwise flat and lifeless object look more realistic and 3D in appearance.
When done right, they can have a huge impact on the design of a scrapbook page. Take this for example:
These two wire hearts from Karen Schulz are exactly the same. The only difference is the shadow. The one on the left has a basic layer style shadow. The one on the right has a custom shadow.
- Which one makes you feel like you could reach out and pick it up?
- Which one would you want on your page?
