🧡 2 Ways to Speed Up Your Scrapbooking

September 17, 2024 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 22, Issue 37

Hi there!

I admit it. I’m just like you. I forget.

My forgetfulness slows me down and trips me up.

Let me lay it out for you – I work with Photoshop and Photoshop Elements a lot. Like, a LOT a lot. And, I don’t know why, but whenever I need to get a new layer in the Layers panel, I find myself staring at the icons trying to remember which one is Create a New Layer.

If you’re like me, sometimes it’s easier to remember a shortcut instead of which icon corresponds to which command.

Create a New Layer Shortcut

By pressing Shift Ctrl N (Mac: Shift Cmd N) you’ll not only get a new layer above the current layer in the Layers panel, but you’ll be able to name the layer before it’s created. Ohhh. That’s like extra sauce on your nuggets!

That little beauty has great potential for speeding up your scrapbooking. And if that’s not enough, here’s another time-saving tip – TEMPLATES!

Last week, Gina Harper released #5 in our Timeless Templates collection – just in time for our BIG SALE featuring 31% off (ending today!). Here’s a little peek at them. I think they’d be perfect for Template Tuesday, going on now in Community.

I hope to see you there.

Love and creative success,

Jen White, Owner of Digital Scrapper

Is there a list somewhere of the PSE keyboard shortcuts? I hate to admit my memory is just not as good as it used to be!
