🧡 Making a list. Checking it twice. Such a nice story!!
December 17, 2024 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 22, Issue 50
Hi there!
Making a list and checking it twice.
Now that’s going to be in your head all day, isn’t it? But that’s okay, it’s a festive tune!
Telling Your Story Through Lists
Lists can help you tell your story in a unique way.
- They show what you care about most in an organized and compact format.
- They are actually much easier to compose than a lengthy paragraph!
- And as a bonus, studies have shown that lists help to release stress and anxiety (especially in December).
During a time of year when making lists is a natural thing, I’d encourage you to make your lists part of your story in the form of a scrapbook page. Here are some ideas and tips:
☑️ List your thoughts. These could be: things you’re grateful for, worries you have, or goals for the coming year.
☑️ List your favorites. These could be: your top ten Christmas songs, top shows you love on Netflix, or even a list of your dad’s iconic sayings.
☑️ List your lists. Did you make a list of what you got everyone for Christmas? Write it down and memorialize the story forever on a scrapbook page.
☑️ Adjust the Leading. Are you putting your lists on lined digital paper? If so, don’t forget to adjust the Leading of your text box so that your list aligns with the lines in the paper. Otherwise, it just looks tacky.
I certainly hope you’re on Santa’s Nice List this year!
Love and creative success,
Jen White, Owner of Digital Scrapper
