Grandparent/Grandchild Challenge Winner
It was so hard to pick a winner! I honestly have about four pages that I thought should win, and that’s not even mentioning the amazing pages the Creative Team came up with for our inspiration!
When it’s all said and done, a winner was chosen:
In case you can’t quite see the journaling on this page, here it is:
“Yeh-Yeh is Mandarin for grandfather, but it’s also another name for love. Yeh-Yeh is the first one Ivy wants to see in the morning and the last one to kiss her goodnight when she goes to bed.”
This was such a sweet and tender page. I just love the photos MissouriStar used to capture the adorable relationship between this grandbaby and her grandfather! The black and white conversions of the photos are just beautiful, and the layering around the framed photo on the right is just stunning. Way to go, MissouriStar, for capturing this for your family to treasure forever!
MissouriStar, in the next few days, you will receive a little note in your inbox at the Digital Scrapper forum from us with your $10 gift certificate code. How exciting! There were so many beautiful pages in this challenge. I feel so honored to be chosen. Of course, with such sweet photos I had a bit of a head start. I have always loved both of those photos and it was a joy working with them and the excellent tutorials. Ivy is now 4 and still in love with Yeh-Yeh!
Great photos and LO – congratulations
This is so well done and a really precious story. What a treasure! Congratulations, MissouriStar.
This is so sweet! Thank-you Missouri Star for sharing it with us!
