Grandparent/Grandchild Challenge

Hello!

In honor of National Grandparents Day (which is this month, by the way) we came up with a fun challenge for you guys!

Have you had a special relationship with your Grandparent? Has your child had a special bond with Grandpa or Grandma? Or do you have grandchildren of your own that you love to pieces? Then this is the challenge for you!

We asked our amazing creative team to make pages that showcase Grandparent or Grandchild relationships and here’s what they came up with:

Shar Lamb:

connieg:

Barb:

rose:

I love Shar Lamb’s comic book approach to documenting the things her cute grandson said. And how Connie has darling photos of her granddaughters what they mean to her. Barb has a very sweet photo of her hubby and granddaughter — it’s just a beautiful page! And Rose has a very elegant page of her niece with her grandmother.

Each of these pages are so inspiring. I wish I had taken more photos of my grandparents and myself. A page documenting a relationship like this will be a treasure for your family and many generations to come!

  1. Create a layout that explains any Grandparent or Grandchild relationship in your life or family.
  2. Post your individual pages in our Challenge Gallery.
  3. Leave some love for the other layouts in this gallery. (Optional, but highly recommended!)

This challenge is open for approximately 2 weeks. It will officially be closed to new entries on the night of October 2nd, 2011 at midnight (Pacific Time).

We will announce the winner and post the winning layout here on the Digital Scrapper Blog, our Facebook page, and in our forum within a week of the challenge end date. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to our Digital Scrapper Shop that can be used towards Photoshop Elements & Adobe Photoshop Video Tutorials and awesome kits and templates!

If you’re new to digital scrapbooking and want to learn how to create your own digital scrapbook pages, check out our Learn Digital Scrapbooking class, taught by Adobe’s Official Scrapbooking Expert, Linda Sattgast. You’ll learn the basics and get started designing terrific, unique pages like the ones above in Photoshop Elements or Adobe Photoshop!

Good luck to you all, and we can’t wait to see what pages you come up with!

~Andrea 🙂
