Lauren Grier

This month’s Scrapper’s Guide Premier kit was designed by cute Lauren Grier, and she’s also the designer of the kit used in the Learn Digital Scrapbooking Class taught by Linda Sattgast.

As many of you know, Lauren is an amazing person: she’s a single mom, and her design work is the only income that supports her family. She has been in the hospital for over a week now with some very serious medical problems that only recently came up. The digital community is very concerned for her.

In an effort to help her with her medical bills, Sweet Shoppe Designs has designed a GIANT collaborative kit — with all the money raised going directly to Lauren.

Check out how beautiful this kit is:

Click here to purchase “a little help from my friends” kit to benefit Lauren Grier.

These templates are also available separately at Sweet Shoppe Designs found here that will also benefit Lauren.

This fundraising kit will only be available until the end of April, so don’t miss your chance to get your hands on it, and to make a difference in the lives of this beautiful woman and her son.

Lauren’s Creative Team is also encouraging everyone to visit her store and do a little shopping to help out, since Lauren hasn’t been designing and won’t be able to design for at least a few more weeks. It breaks my heart to see what Lauren is dealing with, and I’m so thankful we have the digital community to help her.

If you’re the praying type, please put her in your prayers — she can use them, along with any happy thoughts. We appreciate the good work she has done for Scrapper’s Guide and truly hope to see her get well and recover FAST.

We love you Lauren! Please get well SOON!

~Andrea

I got the kit the minute I received the e-mail from Sweet Shoppe plus a couple of Lauren’s other kits. The digital community is always there to help one of their own (and others). I’m sure the strength of their prayers and thoughts will make it impossible for her not to get better. I’ve just added mine as well.

Lauren does such a beautiful job on her kits—we’ve enjoyed featuring her work for both Premier and for our Learn Digital Scrapbooking class. As soon as I heard about her illness I checked out her store and bought her Nummy Buddies kit, which is just darling. I didn’t have anything particular in mind when I bought it, but I used it on TWO projects in the next couple of days—a birthday card and a photo book.

I also bought the collab kit shown here as soon as it became available, and it’s really nice. You get a lot for your money!

If wishes and prayers can make you well, you will be up and about soon.
I thought I’d send Lauren back some of the laughter and love that she gives us with her wonderful kits. Therefore this card was made with her own Birthday Monsters kit.
