Project 12 – July 2013

with 2 Comments

Here’s a quick explanation of how Project 12 works:

Create a layout for each month that highlights that month’s activities or experiences, then post it in our Project 12 Gallery.

When you upload your pages, be sure to choose the Project 12 Gallery and then select the month in which the events on your pages took place and post them there. Here’s a direct link to the gallery where you can post your July 2013 pages, to help you get the idea.

Go check out the Project 12 Gallery today! And, when you put up your layout, don’t forget to head on over to the Project 12 in 2013 Forum and post a link to your page so everyone can check it out!

Each month we like to feature some inspiring layouts.

Month-of-June
by blackkathy

When I saw this layout by blackkathy, my heart skipped a beat! First I saw that beautiful blended photo, then the sweet little face in the frame, and then I read the journaling. Oh my. It just goes to show you that there are many, many ways to get your story onto the page. blackkathy used a list format, which frees you up to express yourself without having to agonize over grammar and perfect journaling. This is stunning and memorable. Thank you so much for sharing it with us, blackkathy!

Week-28-29

pattya uses the classic grid format, which results in a clean and orderly layout. She documents her month beautifully with a short paragraph and a numbered list. It’s simple and perfect!

I love how Bev in Houston used an art journaling format to express her rather unhappy month, but at the same time, hints at a bit of humor. This is really quite outstanding Bev in Houston! I hope things improve!

Aww..thank you Barb!!What a wonderful compliment! I find journaling difficult to do and the thought of doing a whole month’s worth was overwhelming, so this worked for me.
