Action Custom Shadow Cheatsheet
(see the manual for step-by-step instructions)

1. Activate a Layer
   1. In the Layers panel, click on a layer you want to add a custom shadow to.
2. Play the DS2024-CustomShadow Action
   1. In the Actions panel, open the DS2024-CustomShadow folder.
   2. Activate the DS2024-CustomShadow action and click Play.

You’ll be reminded of how to transform the action using the videos in this class. Click OK.

NOTE: If your target layer had a drop shadow applied, this action will set the Opacity of that drop shadow to 0% so that it doesn’t affect how the custom shadow looks.

NOTE: This custom shadow action will create a shadow that is similar to a drop shadow layer style with the settings of:

• Color: Black
• Spacing: 5 clicks down and 3 clicks right (120˚)
• Opacity: 40%
• Blend Mode: Multiply
• Gaussian Blur: 8 px Radius
