Meet our wonderful Digital Scrapper Creative Team!
Jenifer - CT Director
I was born and raised in the state of North Dakota. I met my husband, Andy, at university, and we are coming up on our 10 year anniversary! We have two fur babies, Sadie & Penny, who are both of the Havanese breed. We’ve lived in the cold winters of Grand Forks, ND, the HOT summers of St. Louis, MO, and now reside in south central Washington State, close to Andy’s family. I found digital scrapbooking because I bought PSE 10, and Adobe had an ad on their website for Linda and Digital Scrapper. The moment I saw that article, I KNEW I had to come here to the website and jump in. And, that’s exactly what I did. I have learned so much here at Digital Scrapper and love being part of this creative community!
I am a lifelong resident of Maine and live with my husband and kitty. I have a daughter and son, and they have blessed me with four wonderful grandchildren. I work part time at the Coastal Humane Society and also do volunteer work for them. I started digital scrapping around six years ago and boy, has it come a long way since then! I stared out with a Serif scrapbooking software and now use PSE 14. I generally scrap my
grandchildren, creating memories for the future as I enjoy them in the present. I so enjoy learning new techniques and have learned so much from Linda’s Sattgast tutorials here at Digital Scrapper.
Hello everyone! My name is Danica Staples and am better known around digiland as weaselwatchr. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Michael, and live in Michigan with our two feline fur babies Tigger and Macka. I started digital scrapbooking a few years ago, when I was trying to document my Project 365. The rest is history, I was hooked! So much less messy than paper scrapping (hubby agrees)! Besides scrapbooking, I enjoy photography and traveling, especially cruising.
My scrapbooking life began when a friend asked me to host a Creative Memories party. By the end of the evening, I was hooked. Then I ordered Linda’s introductory CD on how to use Adobe Photoshop Elements for scrapbooking. That was in 2005, and it has become my favorite way to scrapbook and create digital art. I live in St. Louis, Missouri with my husband and our cute and furry dog, Lefty. We have two daughters--one just graduated from college, and one just got married. My husband recently retired and now we enjoy going out camping and exploring as much as we can. And, of course, I love to take my camera along to capture all the places we visit. Digital scrapbooking and my blog provide an opportunity to share our travels with family and friends.
My name is Paula, aka Scrapapicture. My husband and I live in New York and have three boys. One is in high school, one just graduated from high school, and one just graduated from college. We also have a Golden Poodle and a Bernese Mountain Dog.
I have been a paper scrapper since my first son was born. Each of my sons have thirteen scrapbook albums. Crazy, right?!
I still like to make hybrid projects, especially around the holidays. I started digi-scrapping about three years ago when I started a hybrid project that required digi-scrapping also. I love everything about digi-scrapping!
It's great having every element and paper at my fingertips along with being able to manipulate the size and color of my pictures without fingerprints, lol.
I love using Photoshop! Now that I feel comfortable with it I can't wait to improve my skills and learn how to create more artistically.
I started using Photoshop about 15 years ago because I wanted to improve my digital photos. Just after my first granddaughter was born I started paper scrapping and using my computer to generate titles, etc. and then I found Digital Scrapper and fell in love with digital. I have every Premier kit and template there is, and “grew up digitally” with Digital Scrapper. I love to learn and Linda's classes and other great tutorials have helped me immeasurably. It took about 6 years before I had enough courage to post a layout online.
We live in Michigan, North of Grand Rapids, about 40 miles from Lake Michigan. We have 4 children and 9 grandchildren and I love to take photographs. I am a Nurse Practitioner by day and now work part time but have a hard time saying no to work. I just love helping people. I have 1 day a week that I consider my “retirement day.”
Hello! My name is Lori Gaudreau and I was born and raised in the state of Maine. Actually, I still live in the house I grew up in! I am a single mother of three awesome boys. My son AJ attends college in Pennsylvania, and Noah and Ben are in high school. We are a very involved family with lots of activities, including Boy Scouts, marching band, chamber singers, and robotics. I am also a full-time teacher. This is my 29th year at the middle school level, and I'm currently teaching 6th grade Social Studies. I also have a part-time job at a local gym.
I first discovered digi-scrapping when I received a digital camera for my 40th birthday 10 years ago. (Yes, you do the math... that makes me the big 5-0!) I had previously done some paper scrapping, but was never one of those organized scrappers who finished albums. I love the ease of digi-scrapping on my laptop, and, of course, there's no mess. I'm really excited to explore more techniques with Photoshop Elements, and being a part of the Digital Scrapper Creative Team.
Hi my name is Penny Dennis. I was born and raised in Oregon; I don't get out much! I have been married to my husband Dave for 13 years and we have two boys: Sam (12) and Ben (10). We also have two dogs. I have been digital scrapbooking since I joined Digital Scrapper way back in 2007 when it was Scrapper's Guide, and I love it! This year, I finally got myself Photoshop CC and am learning, but it's going to take time to feel comfortable with it. Besides scrapbooking I love photography, camping, spending time at the beach, reading, and volunteering at my kids school.
Deborah (dwagner) New for 2017
I live in a small town in Minnesota with my husband of 30 years. We have 2 sons, 1 daughter, 1 granddaughter, and 3 large, high-spirited dogs. We are known by our extended family and friends as the loud family! There is never a dull moment in our home so I will never run out of material to scrap.
I am passionate about this hobby, and imagine my children and grandchildren paging through our scrapbooks years from now, still being able to hear my voice. Most of my free time is spent scrapping, or learning about design, color and artsy Photoshop techniques. That is how I found Digital Scrapper. It’s such a great learning environment! I am very excited to be here, and look forward to being inspired by all the talented artist.
Joyce (jschardt) New for 2017
After spending most of my married life residing in countries from Japan to Guam, my husband of 52 years and I finally settled in a beautiful spot at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. We have one daughter who has blessed us with two adorable grandsons. Since they live in Florida, we find it’s the perfect excuse to spend our winters in the sun instead of the snow.
Nicholas and Nathan are also the reason that I became addicted to digital scrapbooking and photography. I cherish the memories that we create together and can relive those moments as I preserve them in storybooks and albums. It was through Linda’s introductory step-by-step CD on how to use Adobe Photoshop for Scrapbooking that finally gave me the ability to use the program to create what I could see in my head but could not otherwise create with my hands.
Renée (4grand) New for 2017
Hi! My name is Renée Diprose, a Western Canadian girl, married to my high school sweetheart going on 42 years. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren who you will meet through my scrapbook pages! Ten years ago I left my management job to babysit my grandchildren and other children full time. It’s the most rewarding job ever! But time marches on and they are all in school, though I continue to care for them before and after school.
I discovered digital scrapbooking back in 2006 when my first grandson and granddaughter were born. Knowing how many pictures I would be taking I bought my first digital camera and PSE4 and luckily found “Scrapper’s Guide with Linda Sattgast”. I registered and have been a member ever since—all the way to PSE15! I love it and have learned so much from Linda and her team. I am honored to be part of the CT and look forward to learning new techniques, tricks, and tips and sharing them with this community. When not scrapbooking I enjoy baking, quilting, crafts with the grandkids, card making, and lately scanning and organizing pictures.
Vynette (pixie) New for 2017
My name is Vynette, also known as pixie in the digi world. My husband and I live in Texas with our fur baby. I got my first copy of PSE in 2007. I was so intimidated when I opened it that I swore I’d never use it. Fast forward to 2012, when I came across some tutorials at Digital Scrapper and discovered how easy PSE is to learn. Now I enjoy creating scrapbook pages, posters, cards, and other digital art in my free time. I love that there’s no mess to clean up, I can use my favorite paper over & over again, and if I make a mistake, I can just click command Z!
