Find Your Version
Here’s how to find out which version of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements you have:
Windows Vista
In Windows Vista, follow this file path:
Start > Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files(x86) > Adobe
The Adobe directory will contain folders for each Adobe product you have purchased, and will be labeled with the name of the product, e.g. Photoshop Elements 7, Adobe Photoshop CS4, etc.
Windows XP
In Windows XP, follow this file path:
Start > Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > Adobe
The Adobe directory will contain folders for each Adobe product you have purchased, and will be labeled with the name of the product, e.g. Photoshop Elements 7, Adobe Photoshop CS4, etc.
Macintosh
On a Macintosh, open a Finder window and click on Applications in the list on the left. All your software will be listed alphabetically, so look for the software starting with Adobe Photoshop and see what version it says, e.g. Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 or Adobe Photoshop CS4, etc.
