Hello. My name is Jenifer Juris and I’m your instructor for An Eye for Design. This class was born out of my own personal frustration. When I first started digital scrapbooking, I loved making pages that looked great. I enjoyed the page creation process as much as the memory keeping. But as a beginner, I struggled to consistently put together pages that I loved. I knew some pages looked better than others, but at the time, I couldn’t tell you why. I’ve learned many things the hard way, but after 10 years of instructing, I’m here to teach you what I’ve learned so that you don’t have to learn the hard way. In this class, I’ll share with you the top 5 most common design problems that we find on pages today. I’ll also show you how to identify, correct, and prevent them. My goal is to give you confidence as you put together your own digital scrapbook pages and teach you how to have an eye for design.
” The videos were easy to follow.
I’m finding this class isn’t about a specific technique
but more about learning to become a better all-around scrapper. “

Telling stories is at the core of digital scrapbooking. We all want to honor the memories we are preserving by doing our best to create beautiful pages. In order to do that, it’s necessary to have a basic understanding of page design. The problem is, not all of us are able to easily see or identify what’s good or bad about our pages. This can make you feel frustrated and confused. I know, because I used to be the same way. That’s why I’ve taken what I’ve learned over the last 10 years and put together this class. Here’s how it works:
- First, you’ll learn how to identify one of the top 5 design problems.
- Next, you’ll learn what the rules are to correct and/or prevent these problems.
- Third, you’ll learn how to use those rules in a practical way.
- Last, you’ll take everything you’ve learned and put it into practice.
So enroll today so you can stop feeling frustrated and learn how to have an eye for design.
