🧡 Save Your Sanity–Frame a Photo

August 20, 2024 | Digital Scrapper News | Volume 22, Issue 33

Hi there!

Can a frame actually save your sanity? I say, YES!

One of the best things that a frame can do is to break up the chaos of a beautiful scrapbook page and totally save your sanity. Let me show you.

A simple 30px white stroke outline on a photo can totally help calm a scrapbook page. The frames compartmentalize it so that it’s easier to understand. Can you imagine how this page would look without the white “frames” around the photos?

Thicker frames can help you to separate ideas on a scrapbook page. It’s like holding up a magnifying glass and saying, “Hey! Look here!” It’s one less thing for your brain to have to figure out, thereby calming the page and saving your sanity.

Next time you’re out and about on the web, search the galleries and see what special roles frames are playing on the pages. Ask yourself if the frame is saving the sanity of the page.

Have you gotten on the bus?

In case you have not heard, I am preparing to move our classroom out of Teachable and onto our website. It’s a big deal.

Why Mess With a Good Thing?
Teachable has been good for us, but it’s limiting our forward progress and becoming too costly. Moving our classroom will also allow us to operate with just one single login . . . nice!

Should You Panic?
Your classes are perfectly safe. Please do not panic. I am already in the process of meticulously copying all classes over to a new classroom environment on our website. You will never be without your classes. I pinky promise!

Please, Help Me Out

I’ve added your email address to our website, but I need you to create a password.

NOTE: If you did this last week, there’s no need to do it again.

Here’s how to set a password:

In the new dialog box, enter your full email address. This should be the same email address you use in the classroom (on Teachable).
